Every project, company, event, and client is different. Whether diving into research about best marketing practices, creating new branding suites, learning more about the field my client is in, or creating unique ideas to make an event stand out, I love creating reports, images, event details, and strategies that go outside of the box!
Discovery and Research
Establishing and recognizing ways a company excels in the market and where there is room for improvement is an important step before establishing how to help with a company’s success. Helping clients discover these aspects of their company allows for transparency in defining whether a rebrand, more thorough training of employees, clarity of company mission, brand, and/or goals, or entrance into a different sector of the marketplace is needed for the company's overall growth and success.
In my project with the Amanda Kloots brand including Amanda Kloots Fitness, I created a comprehensive 200-page Brand Strategy Report which included a situational analysis, examination of current company practices, and branding trends. A competitor analysis was also performed which compared the company to its top 8 competitors in the market. The project concluded with a listing of rebranding ideas, including user-tested colors, logos, and a complete website redesign to improve her communication and business strategy.
Another example of my ability to research, make educated design decisions, and create a brand strategy implementation plan in a collaborative environment is this team project completed for The Hive Winery and Brandy Company.
User Testing and Feedback
Utilizing physical prototypes and mockups to provide customer feedback helps to create the most user-friendly versions of marketing material and branding suites to allow companies to achieve their overall goals.
I created several surveys and focus groups for companies like the McDonald’s corporation to establish customer satisfaction and opinions about current business practices as well as to acquire feedback for proposed branding changes. User testing and observation was also conducted for websites redesigns for The Belmont Story Review and Westminster College MSC Program.

Client Feedback and Revisions
I love hearing client feedback and making the end result exactly what they are invisioning.
There were many people involved in the approval of the overall design and rebrand for the Belmont Story Review project. Several ideas were pitched to the client prior to being chosen for the project. Numerous considerations were made due to its affiliation with a prestigious University and its financial support by government funding and grants. Once chosen for the project, my partner and I created several iterations with different copy and design combinations which were approved by editors, staff, student reps, and faculty advisors. Ultimately we created a complete rebrand of their publication including logo, colors, fonts, style guide, and website.
“Working with Anna [and Casie] was a true pleasure. They were flexible for scheduling meetings, responsive over email, and balanced educating me and my team about the branding process with asking great questions to help understand our project goals. We ended up with a product we really love (new website complete with rebranded logo suite) and are proud to use. I had a great experience with Anna and Casie and would recommend them to anyone!”
